Dr. Pat Bajari is a leading authority in the application of science and data to drive digital transformation at scale.  As Chief Economist and Managing Director for Core AI at Keystone Strategy, he collaborates with clients to deploy AI tools that eliminate waste, increase growth and bolster the bottom line.

Prior to Keystone, Pat was a tech VP at Amazon 13 years. He served as its Chief Economist and a leader of Core AI, a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers.  His teams worked on problems including operations, transportation, inventory, pricing, applied marketing, HR, forecasting, Digital, AWS and public policy.

Based in suburban Seattle, Pat is a visiting scholar at Harvard Business School and the University of Minnesota’s Heller-Hurwicz Institute. He earned his doctorate in economics at the University of Minnesota and prior to working at Amazon taught in economics departments at Harvard, Stanford, Duke and Minnesota. Among his professional honors, he is a Fellow of the National Association of Business Economists and the Econometric Society.
